Causeway Community Café Opens Its Doors in Warrington
There's now something new to look forward to on Tuesdays: the Causeway Community Café has opened at St John’s church hall (WA4 6ǪE), right next to the ESSO garage.
Open every Tuesday from 10am to 2pm, this lively spot offers homemade food, a friendly atmosphere, and a welcoming environment. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful place to work or a cheerful table for conversation, the café is designed to be a favourite destination for people of all ages and backgrounds. The notable Warrington Photographic Society is delighted to currently display a collection of historic photographs from Warrington, as well as stunning nature pictures and much more in the café space.

“We want everyone who walks through our doors to feel like they belong,” says Alan , one of the café’s volunteers. “It’s not just about the food—though we’re very proud of our home-made soup and tasty jacket potatoes —it’s about creating a community where people look out for one another.”

Opportunities for young people to develop their relationship with God: New Mersey Synod Youth Rep, Emma Jackson
Over her 21 years at West Kirby URC, Emma Jackson has led worship (including musical ), helped to develop the team and advocated for opportunities where young people and children can grow in their relationship with God. Now she has been appointed as the new Mersey Synod Youth Rep.

Peasley Cross URC celebrated five years of bringing its Sunday congregation and families together through Messy Church. This followed the Messy Church format with a time of celebration, songs, stories, crafts and food.
Pentecost: Bringing the Merseyside Region Together
On Pentecost Sunday, Churches Together in the Merseyside Region (CTMR) gathered for the two Cathedrals walk. Local Christians started at the Anglican Cathedral for an act of worship led by the Salvation Army band and the choirs of the two Cathedrals.
