CORRYMEELA June 2024: An opportunity for spiritual memories and transformative work
Following the successful pilgrimage to Iona Abbey in May 2023, we are now booking another trip to stay full board in the Corrymeela Peace and Reconciliation Centre in Ballycastle, Northern Ireland.
A £250 grant is available towards the cost of the trip for each attendee.
This is a perfect opportunity to make spiritual memories in a place known for providing safe and creative spaces for groups to engage in transformative work.
The deadline to book a place is Friday 15th March.
The dates of the trip are Monday 24th to 30th June 2024.
We will be living in community and the bedrooms are a mix of single, twin and triple beds, but all are en-suite. Meals and worship are shared with other groups.
We will be taking part in two half day workshops led by Corrymeela leaders on Marginalisation; there is also daily worship; time for sight-seeing and time in the arts and crafts room and games room.
Places are filling up fast so please contact Rita, Synod Clerk, on 07838103310 or synodclerk@urcmerseysynod.org.uk for more information and to book your place. There is a £50 deposit required.
